Fleet managers to benefit from new AFP training
The Association of Fleet Professionals has introduced two new bite-sized online courses for fleet managers.
The 90-minutes courses are being introduced to deliver a flexible and convenient option for fleet managers to develop new practical skills.
Its Time Management course, taking place on 10 February and 28 April, has been designed to help fleet managers identify and focus on high-priority that generates the best long-term results, while its Change Gear in Your Career course, taking place on 3 March, will help fleet managers identify their hidden talents and release untapped potential to improve their effectiveness.
Ronnie Gillman, AFP training manager, said: “We believe time-pressured fleet managers should undoubtedly have the opportunity to access high quality, effective training, and these bite-sized courses are our response to that need.
“They are a new format for 2026 and we believe are likely to prove very popular. Covering areas of personal development that fleet managers often tell us they want to tackle in a cost-effective course that can be easily squeezed into a working day, they provide valuable new approaches that can be put into practice straightaway.”
This comes after the AFP introduced another Accelerate course, ‘Navigating People Challenges’ which focuses on improving team management skills and increasing self-awareness as a leader.
