Fleet Assist carries out ESG audits of repair network
Fleet Assist has carried out predictive ESG audits of 9,700 service points and 650 mobile operators in its repair network.
The programme is intended to help leasing and rental fleets monitor Scope 3 emissions within their supply chains, which can represent 70–90% of a company’s total carbon footprint according to the Carbon Trust.
The audits will enable Fleet Assist customers to consider the ESG ratings of workshops before sending them repair work.
The audits look at several key areas including diversity and inclusion, health and safety and environmental policies. Data governance, cyber security, financial stability, company structure, carbon management and sustainability are also audited.
Vital role
Nikos Kotrozos, Fleet Assist supply chain director, said: “We recognise the vital role we play in influencing environmental and social outcomes across the automotive supply chain, and we are committed to driving meaningful progress for our customers and partners.
“We plan to publish regular updates on our ESG progress to give all our stakeholders clear visibility of performance and ongoing improvements. Talking about the constituent elements of ESG adds credibility to companies and acting on them shows integrity.”
