Fix Auto Walsall has announced further expansion with the acquisition of Stourport-based Rapid Auto Solutions.
Father-and-son owners Ziggy and Humam Amin are now in the process of rebranding the 3,000 sqft site as Fix Auto Stourport.
The news continues a sustained period of investment for the business. It recently quadrupled the size of its Fix Auto Walsall site to 16,000 sqft, adding a tech centre with a dedicated ADAS calibration system and electric vehicle capabilities, and increasing capacity to 40 vehicles a week.
Humam Amin will now manage the new site, with younger brother Yousef taking over responsibility for day-to-day operations at Fix Auto Walsall.
Exciting step
Humam Amin said: “This is an exciting step for our family. Rapid Auto Solutions has a sound foundation and an excellent reputation locally. Taking it over and rebranding the site as Fix Auto Stourport will allow us to build on that while introducing Fix Auto UK and our own systems and expertise.
“We have been seriously looking to build upon our footprint for some time so when the opportunity arose to buy an already established business we acted swiftly.”
