Fix Auto expansion proves sisters are doing it for themselves

Erika and Alena Woolacott have announced that they have acquired their third Fix Auto site.

The sisters have purchased the former Halls Graves Lee Accident Repair Centre, which will be renamed Fix Auto Plympton.

Acquired from Derek and Anne Hall, who have owned and operated the business for more than 50 years, Fix Auto Plympton joins well-established repair centres Fix Auto Mid Devon and Fix Auto Newton Abbot.

Erika said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to have found a well-established business staffed by an incredibly talented team. Since opening our second site in Newton Abbot in 2021, we’ve set our sights on further expansion. The priority was always to find a business that aligned with our family values and culture, and HGL is exactly that.

“Derek and Anne have built an outstanding reputation over five decades, and our aim is to build on that legacy, investing further and enhancing the site under the Fix Auto brand. It’s really exciting.”

Confidence

Mark Hutchins, operations director of Fix Auto UK, added: “We are all absolutely delighted for Alena, Erika and the entire Woolacott family. It’s always extremely pleasing to see an established franchise partner realise their ambitions and goals by extending their portfolio.

“This is yet another clear and understated message of confidence running right through our group of repairers. At a time when it’s well documented that repair notifications are down across the sector, we have yet another franchise partner, buoyed by the confidence in being part of the group, who is choosing to invest and expand their business.”
