Electrics dominate fastest-selling used cars list
The top 10 fastest selling used cars in the UK this month are all electric, according to the latest data from Auto Trader.
This is the first time there are no petrol or diesel models on the list since Auto Trader began tracking rankings in 2022, and reflects strengthening demand in the used electric vehicle market.
Eight of the top 10 fastest-selling models are electric, with hybrids accounting for the other two places. The data also revealed that there were no electric models among the 10 slowest models.
Across all fuel types, the average speed of sale is 30 days, with those in the three to five-year bracket selling in 28 days, and electric models in that age category fining a buyer in just 20 days.
Meanwhile, Autotrader’s latest 2026 Retail Price Index revealed a 1.6% year-on-year price increase to £24,662, marking the first annual growth since December 2022.
