BVRLA names Vincent St Claire committee chairman
The British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association (BVRLA) has named Vincent St Claire as the chair of its Vehicle Fleet Management (VFM) committee.
Vincent, who is managing director of Fleet Assist, will lead the BVRLA VFM forums and chair its three annual events.
The forums provide an open platform for fleet management companies to discuss the issues shaping the sector, while its events programme covers everything from vehicle management, repair and de-fleeting.
St Claire takes over from Blaine Colston, general manager, vehicle operations at KINTO UK.
He said: “I’m very much looking forward to working with the committee and the wider membership as we collaborate, challenge convention, and push the boundaries across the entire vehicle life cycle.
“We are operating in what can only be described as the most radical and revolutionary period in automotive history. The pace of change presents both opportunity and responsibility, and I’m excited about the role the VFM forum can play in shaping best practice, innovation, and sustainable outcomes for our industry.”
Experience
Toby Poston, BVRLA chief executive, added: “It is fantastic to welcome Vincent to this role, bringing with him an incredible amount of experience, knowledge and passion. We have benefitted from his valuable contributions on all things SMR over the past few years, alongside his drive to improve the landscape for the sector overall.
“The UK’s car fleet continues its rapid transformation. Policy changes, decisions on motoring tax, and fleet priorities are causing the mix of ICE, hybrid, and electric vehicles to constantly shift. Having Vince at the heart of our discussions around how that impacts the SMR landscape keeps us in a strong position.”
