AVILOO unveils warranty for used electric vehicle batteries
A new warranty for used electric vehicle batteries has been introduced by battery diagnostic company AVILOO.
The warranty will provide electric vehicle buyers with protection based entirely on independent battery health data.
After successful rollouts in France and Sweden this month, it will be launched simultaneously in the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, Finland, Austria, Belgium, Ireland and Switzerland in July.
AVILOO CEO Marcus Berger said: “With the Battery Warranty, we are setting a new industry standard. For the first time, we are providing the foundation for a warranty based solely on objective, independent measurement data. This builds trust and makes risks calculable.
“It provides orientation for all market participants, strengthens the decision in favour of electric mobility, and ensures that used EVs are perceived not as a risk, but as a sustainable and trustworthy option for the future.”
