Automechanika Frankfurt 2026 hailed a huge triumph

Automechanika Frankfurt 2026 has reported it attracted over 112,0001 trade visitors from 173 countries during the five-day event.

With 4,400 exhibitors from 80 countries, it offered a wide range of practical solutions and services for workshops, retail and industry.

The spotlight of the event this year was on artificial intelligence, software-defined vehicles, connected cars, driver assistance systems and alternative drive systems, as well as on the significance of these developments for repairs, services and the entire vehicle lifecycle.

Meanwhile, over 4,600 pupils, students and trainees were given insights into the training occupations on offer in the automotive trade and a chance to discover the wide-ranging professional opportunities in the automotive industry.

Detlef Braun, member of the executive board of Messe Frankfurt GmbH, said: “Not only has the mood been extremely positive throughout this intensive five-day trade fair, but there has also been a visible increase in the number of exhibitors and visitors – in total, 66% of trade visitors came from abroad and 34% from within Germany.

“Automechanika also supplied a wealth of captivating in-person experiences with some 500 events and countless attractions in the outdoor exhibitor area. The products and services presented by the Innovation Award winners demonstrate the impressive level of technical progress being made in the automotive aftermarket.”

In total, 90% of all exhibitors intend to return in two years, while on the visitor side 96% were satisfied with their trade fair visit and 89% said that they would recommend a visit to Automechanika Frankfurt.
