AUTOFY unveiled to UK bodyshops

LKQ has launched AUTOFY in the UK to help bodyshop owners simplify the day-to-day running of their businesses.

Specifically designed for managers of developing workshops, AUTOFY simplifies daily administrative tasks so managers can spend more time on identifying opportunities, maximising business potential and building sustainable growth.

New members will receive access to LaunchContol, which has been created for workshops moving from paper-based systems and whiteboards to digital solutions. It brings bookings, customer and vehicle records, job cards, invoicing, payments and reporting together in one place, while its integration with LKQ Euro Car Parts allows technicians to order parts directly from a job card without switching between systems.

AUTOFY members will also have access to LaunchPad, a mobile-first technician interface showing assigned jobs, inspections and workshop tasks. Technicians can record notes and customer concerns, carry out guided vehicle inspections and capture photographs using a phone or tablet.

Meanwhile, LaunchBay helps workshops to create their own branded website, offer online booking and give customers access to estimates, approvals, reminders and vehicle service history.

AUTOFY training

Eligible AUTOFY members will also receive three practical training days through LKQ Academy: two focused on business development and one for either running a profitable garage, managing customer experience or preparing to become an EV workshop.

Louise Davies, head of concepts for LKQ UK & Ireland, said: “AUTOFY already has a strong foundation within LKQ’s European workshop network, and we’ve shaped the concept for the UK around helping developing garages to grow and thrive.

“It’s designed to make life much easier for garage owners by bringing together practical tools and support to make the work around each repair simpler. That means less time dealing with administration and more time helping customers and getting vehicles back on the road.”
