AP Autocare reaps rewards of digital booking solution
Bristol independent repairer AP Autocare has claimed that a new digital booking solution is earning the business more than £100 every day.
It launched a new updated website with Garage Services Online last November, integrated with the company’s new booking widget RampUp.
RampUp connects customers directly with repairers, acting as a simple enquiry tool or as a fully automated live booking system.
Integrated VRN lookup and intelligent filtering means customers are only presented with a menu of services suitable for their vehicle, with accurate pricing from the outset protecting profit margins and improving efficiency.

Accurate pricing
Owner Chris Peacock said: “Our online pricing used to be very generic. RampUp tailors the cost to each vehicle. It identifies the car correctly, which keeps us organised and focused on the right work. GSO really understands the motor trade.
“Also, customers want to book online outside business hours. RampUp makes it simple for them and helps us finalise bookings efficiently. It’s attracting a healthy mix of new and returning clients, keeping the process smooth for everyone.”
George Phillips, director of operations at Garage Services Online, added: “AP Autocare’s RampUp widget processed 40 confirmed fixed-price bookings totalling over £5,670 in its first eight weeks.
“And that doesn’t include more complex jobs booked as price on application. On average, the system is generating over £100 a day in confirmed work before the garage doors even open.”
