3M unveils enhanced RepairStack at Fix Auto UK conference

Key upgrades include:

  • An integrated cabinet isolation switch to improve operational safety and convenience.
  • Enhanced containment of electronic components whilemaintainingstraightforward servicing access.
  • Stronger, more rigid doors with improved lockingperformancethrough a redesigned pin and bar mechanism.
  • Improved overall build quality and robustness throughout the unit.

Smarter functionality

Lee Roan, strategic accounts and RepairStack sales leader for 3M Automotive Aftermarket Division, said of the enhanced RepairStack system:

“Twelve months ago, we introduced RepairStack to the UK market here at the Fix Auto UK National Conference, so it felt fitting to return and showcase the next generation of the system.

“The response over the last year has exceeded our expectations with more than 40 installations completed across the UK and Ireland. While we were extremely pleased with the original system, every installation and every customer interaction has provided valuable insight into how we could further refine and enhance the product for the UK and wider European market.

“RepairStack was first launched in the United States five years ago. Like many of the vehicles our customers repair every day, the system has now undergone its own facelift, incorporating smarter functionality, improved robustness and enhanced usability to better meet the evolving demands of modern repairers.”

The enhanced RepairStack system reinforces 3M’s continued commitment to supporting bodyshops with smarter, more efficient repair environments designed to improve workflow, organisation and operational performance.
