HELLA premium brakes now available to UK aftermarket
HELLA premium brakes are now available to the UK aftermarket following a major expansion in its product range.
The portfolio of products includes pads and discs, as well as calipers, drums and shoes, master and wheel cylinders, and wear indicators.
This range is supported by HELLA electronics such as brake-by-wire pedals and ABS sensors, positioning the company as one-stop braking solution.
HELLA brake pads are engineered to OE standards, using over 200 friction material components. Constructed with powder-coated steel backplates and high-shear adhesive, they feature application-specific chamfers and noise grooves to ensure quiet, consistent braking.
Ian Mattacola, braking product manager at HELLA, said: “Each pad is developed to mirror the original specification, ensuring confident, consistent braking in all conditions. We’ve taken OE design principles and applied them directly to the aftermarket, so workshops can fit with total confidence.”
Brake discs
Brake discs are also built to OE standards, using high carbon content for enhanced heat dissipation and reduced brake fade where required. A water-based coating protects against corrosion and removes the need for cleaning before fitment, saving time on installation. All discs carry ECE R90 approval, confirming their safety and integrity.
Meanwhile, HELLA calipers are new units that are 100% bench-tested and ready to install, with no surcharge or core return required. Each unit includes essential mounting hardware, offering a fast, hassle-free solution for technicians.
The company is planning further expansion that will increase the 6,000-part numbers already available in the UK to more than 9,000 references.
