Zoe Tonks appointed head of sales for Farizon UK
Jameel Motors UK has appointed Zoe Tonks as head of sales for Farizon UK to build on a successful launch into the UK market.
Tonks spent 14 years at Marshall Motor Group and joins Farison from Harris Maxus UK, where she was head of fleet.
She will report to Calum James, general manager of Farizon UK.
Tonks said: “Joining a new brand at such an early stage of its journey in the UK is an exciting challenge. I was attracted to the role in no small part due to the Farizon UK team’s clear approach and strong values, with innovation and customer satisfaction at the top of the list of priorities. The Farizon SV has a lot to offer, and I look forward to helping drive the brand’s ongoing success.”
James added: “Zoe is going to be a real asset to the team, bringing valuable experience from both sides of the manufacturer-retailer relationship. She’s demonstrated strategic and commercial acumen and extensive senior leadership credentials.”
Meanwhile, Jameel Motors has also appointed Brian Currie (Milton Keynes) as its latest franchised dealer.
James said: “We’re delighted to welcome Brian Currie (Milton Keynes) to the Farizon family, with its years of commercial vehicle experience and strong customer base in and around Milton Keynes. These are two great appointments which will help us to sustainably grow sales for the Farizon SV in the UK.”
