TPS Ipswich enhances capacity with new site
Volkswagen Group approved genuine parts supplier TPS Ipswich has moved to a new 13,000 sqft site to handle growing demand.
With a 15-strong fleet, the business carries out six daily deliveries to customers in Bury St Edmunds, Clapton-On-Sea, Colchester, Diss, Felixstowe Halstead, Ipswich Saxmundham, Sudbury and Woodbridge.
It is also one of the network’s largest battery stockists, with its own purpose-built room for battery testing and charging.
TPS Ipswich manager Malcolm Park said: “We had very much outgrown the previous building, so moving to the new site has allowed us to increase our capacity and ramp up operations to our customers.
“There has been a phenomenal amount of work gone into getting the new site up and running and everyone is really impressed by what we have here. We have the capacity to stock more parts than ever before and deliver them to customers across the region.
“For instance, TPS Ipswich is now one of the largest battery stockists in the TPS centre network with 650 batteries available on site at any time.”
