Prasco UK celebrates 20-year milestone
Automotive parts supplier Prasco UK is celebrating 20 years of continuous service to the vehicle repair sector.
The company began in a small unit with just three colleagues, a single van and trading under the original name of Direct Automotive.
But supported by the Italy-based pan European Prasco network and led by co-founder and managing director Kelvyn Waugh, it has grown year on year and processes more than 5,000 orders every week from its 80,000 sqft distribution centre in Doncaster.
With more than 90 employees and a fleet of 40 delivery vans, Prasco offers next-day deliveries of independently certified non-OE replacement parts when ordered before 5pm.

Waugh said: “Reaching this milestone is a testament to the relationships we’ve built and the consistent effort of everyone involved in Prasco UK. It’s incredible when you reflect that just three of us started this business out of a small unit with a single van.
“I had the firm belief that if we provided a personal service and sourced the right products we would succeed and here we are today, continually thriving. I am extremely proud to say that the last year years have each surpassed each other as our best ever and that is down to the service we provide.”
