OMODA&JAECOO reports strong sales start to 2025

OMODA&JAECOO has reported an upsurge in sales in the UK in the first quarter of 2025.

The Chinese vehicle manufacturer announced it recorded sales of 3,868 vehicles in March, after sales of 2,561 cars in January and February.

The two growing brands have now sold a total of 6,427 units in the first three months of 2025 with the company setting its sights on 30,000 sales this year.

OMODA&JAECOO UK is now predicting a continued uptick in sales into April, despite the VED changes that took effect at the beginning of the month, driven by the launch of the OMODA 9 flagship SUV, which became available on 2 April.

Victor Zhang, UK director, OMODA&JAECOO said: “With OMODA and JAECOO now successfully immersed in the UK market, both brands have demonstrated their mass appeal among a wide cross-section of drivers.

“With more models arriving over the coming months – including our flagship OMODA 9 luxury SUV, and also the OMODA 7 and JAECOO 5 – customers in the retail and fleet sectors will have even more choice as we focus firmly on achieving our sales target of 30,000 vehicles sold in 2025 inclusive.”

Meanwhile, the brand has continued to expand its UK dealer network, which now totals 73 locations
