Northgate opens Hoddesdon branch 10 minutes from the M25
Northgate Vehicle Hire has opened a new branch in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire, just 10 minutes from Junction 25 of the M25. The new site is one of Northgate’s busiest southern locations and has been designed to support its growing customer base.
With Hoddesdon now open, Northgate supports customers across the UK through its network of 73 sites and a fleet of more than 50,000 vehicles, ensuring high availability and rapid support for its customers.

Hoddesdon offers a comprehensive range of vehicle options from car-derived vans, and small and medium models to 3.5-tonne panel vans and chassis cabs. It also provides electric vans, eCargo bikes and a selection of cars, giving businesses a wide selection of options for their operational needs.
All vehicles are available either on flexible hire or 12months-plus, with the option of Northgate’s ‘We Buy You Rent’ service, which provides a fair market price for existing vehicles and enables businesses to switch to a fully maintained rental fleet while boosting cashflow and maintaining continuity.
Hoddesdon features a significantly expanded service capacity, including seven ramps and brand-new workshop equipment to help vehicles get back on the road quicker than ever.
Significant investment
Electric vehicle charge points have already been installed on-site and will be brought online in due course to support Northgate’s expanding EV capabilities.
Built with the future in mind, the new Hoddesdon branch also incorporates a number of sustainability features including solar panels, LED lighting, infrastructure ready for additional EV charge points, and a dedicated meeting room for customers and partners.
