Motor Parts Direct appoints Lee Gratton as new managing director
Motor Parts Direct has appointed Lee Gratton as managing director.
He takes over from Darren Wykes, who is retiring at the end of the year after more than 26 years.
Wykes co-founded the car parts company in1999 with one branch and four employees and has helped steer it to a national network of 180 branches.
He said: “This marks the end of a deeply fulfilling chapter in both my professional career and personal journey. Motor Parts Direct has always been my baby, nurtured from its humble beginnings into a business that has far exceeded expectations, thanks to the fantastic and talented people involved.
“I am confident that the strong leadership team in place, along with Lee’s experience and drive, will ensure it continues to flourish in the years ahead.”
Gratton, who will work closely with Wykes during a transition period, said:
