MAG appoints Geoff Flood to lead new Goole LCV auction site

Motor Auction Group (MAG) has appointed Geoff Flood as centre manager at its new £5m purpose-built Goole LCV auction site.
The five-acre site will host its first LCV sale on the 27 March.
It will host two auctions a week from the summer, with the goal of selling 12,000 used LCVs every year.
The investment follows a significant rise in demand for the company’s LCV auction programme in the last 18 months, with weekly sales outgrowing its previous Bawtry location. The Goole site will accommodate this increased demand but also free up space at MAG’s Rotherham site.
Flood, who joins from Aston Barclay, is joined by new assistant manager Gemma Stokes, vendor and buyer manager Jaqueline Swaine, and vendor manager Samantha Wray.
Operations director at MAG Justin Lane said: “All our teams are working closely to seamlessly transfer our weekly LCV sale over from our Bawtry site to Goole for the end of March. We continue to put the finishing touches to the new site’s refurbishment centre, auction rostrum, signage and security.
“A few vehicles have already arrived on site for the first sale, and we expect to be fully operational by the end of April.”
