John McGowan Auto Body Repair joins Fix Auto UK

Fix Auto UK has appointed its seventh Northern Ireland franchisee in the last four years, with John McGowan Auto Body Repair joining the network.

Owned and managed by Ruairi McGarrity, the business will now operate as Fix Auto Enniskillen.

Joining the network comes at a key time, with major redevelopment work about to get underway.

The investment will expand Fix Auto Enniskillen to a 10,000 sq ft state-of-the-art repair centre with two new booths, in-house ADAS facilities, wheel alignment and new offices and will double its currently capacity to repair up to 45 vehicles a month.

Exciting chapter

McGarrity said: “Joining Fix Auto UK marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for my business. With our expansion plans approved, we are about to embark on a complete transformation of the site, more than doubling our size and capacity.

“This investment will allow us to provide an even greater level of service to our customers while ensuring Fix Auto Enniskillen plays a key role in supporting the region’s repair needs.”

Capacity

The latest appointment extends Fix Auto’s ability to conservatively repair more than 700 vehicles a month with plenty of scope to increase that figure.

Fix Auto UK’s operations director Mark Hutchins, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to have Ruairi and his team on board. We have witnessed a remarkable growth in Northern Ireland and our stature and ability to repair vehicles en masse continues to grow at an impressive pace.

“Northern Ireland is firmly established as a key proposition of ours, Fix Auto Enniskillen truly fits our criteria of having ambition along with repairing vehicles to the highest standards possible.”
