iRG Repair Group announces Cardiff Devils sponsorship

iRG Repair Group has announced it is sponsoring Elite Ice Hockey League team and Continental Cup champions Cardiff Devils.

As part of the corporate tie-up, iRG has become a jersey sponsor and also put its name to a new game-night feature at the Vindico Arena, ‘The Frost and The Furious’.

This sees fans race in teams of two on the ice in iRG-liveried go-karts for the chance to win a Devils merchandise voucher.

Dan Lewis, financial director, iRG Repair Group, said: “The Cardiff Devils have a great reputation both on and off the ice so, when the opportunity arose, it just made sense for us as Wales’ largest accident repair group to partner with the biggest and most successful ice hockey team in Wales.

“As organisations, our values align and we share many synergies such as innovation, teamwork, striving for excellence and making a difference in the community.”

Katrina Williams, operations director of the Cardiff Devils, said: “We’re delighted to welcome iRG into the Devils family. Their drive for excellence and commitment to innovation make them the perfect partner for our club. Just as they set the standard in the accident repair industry, we aim to set the standard in British ice hockey.

“We’re thrilled to have the iRG name on our player jerseys but also have their support to launch our new fan engagement activity, The Frost and The Furious, which helps us create unique experiences that take the fun of hockey beyond the game.

“With iRG’s brand presence across the season, the collaboration not only strengthens the Devils’ sponsorship network but also highlights the powerful connections between elite sport and leading businesses in the region.”
