Glue pull repair solution rolled out at DLG

Direct Line Group has completed the roll out of KECO’s glue pull repair (GPR) systems across its 24 sites.

Installations and on site training have taken place over the past five months, enhancing the partnership between the two organisations.

In total, 125 DLG technicians will benefit from the GPR systems, which underscores DLG’s commitment to innovation and sustainability within vehicle repair

Dean Kelly, technical team manager at DLG, said: “The recent introduction of KECO GPR equipment is already making a significant difference to our business. It has given us an opportunity to re-engage with our panel technicians and introduce them to an alternative way to approach the repair.

“We are now using the equipment across 23 of our sites and in our Birmingham training centre. The introduction of the system and the training has been first class from Chris Sugden at Keco, and we are looking forward to exploring further opportunities with them in the near future.”

Significant milestone

Sugden, KECO UK sales manager, added: “We are absolutely delighted to have secured this agreement with DLG. This partnership marks a significant milestone for us, and both I and the entire team at KECO are thrilled to be working with DLG to deliver installations and training across all sites incorporating around 125 body repair technicians.

“We’re proud to bring our expertise to this nationwide rollout and look forward to a successful and collaborative journey together.”
