Ford Transit Custom most successful MOT van
The Ford Transit Custom has been identified as the most likely van to pass its MOT.
This is based on analysis of more than 33 million MOT results from 2005 carried out by temporary van insurance providers Tempcover.
The Ford Transit Custom achieved an 84% pass rate, with the Ford Courier passing its MOT 80% of the time.
Also scoring a high success rate were the Fiat Ducato (77.61%), Toyota Proace (77.52%), and Mercedes-Benz Sprinter (74.83%).
At the opposite end of the scale were the Fiat Scudo, with pass rate of 58.69%, the Renault Kangoo (61.52%) and the Vauxhall Vivaro (61.59%).
