Fix Auto Sheffield brings network to the Steel City
Fix Auto UK has appointed Fix Auto Sheffield to its network, marking the group’s first ever presence in the city.
Formerly known as Just Cars and Commercials, the business was founded by Dominic Burns and Yan Masterman in 2022.
The duo began repairing vehicles in Masterman’s parents’ garage but as demand grew they moved into their own site before moving against to a 8,000 sqft unit.
Complete with two spraybooths, one dedicated to commercial vehicles, the team of four productives including one second-year apprentice are currently repairing up to 20 vehicles a month but has capacity to potentially double that.
Burns said: “Joining Fix Auto UK has long been part of our business plan. We’re both technicians at heart and have exceptional pride in every repair we complete but we know our limitations in terms of where we are able take the business.
“We have brought the business to a point which we are extremely proud of but one where we know we need that extra help and guidance which you receive from the network if we are to fulfil our ambitions.”
Masterman added:
“Bringing the brand into Sheffield has been a goal of ours for some time and we are delighted to be finally on board. It has been a journey, we have had to invest not only in the building but with the team and with equipment to secure our BSI10125.”
Meanwhile, Fix Auto UK’s operations director Mark Hutchins, said: “Bringing on a new franchise partner is always exciting, even more so when we’re welcoming a double act like Dominic and Yan who have succeeded so well but, by their own admission, are really just getting going. They’ve joined the network full of ambition with an unrivalled desire to thrive which are incredible qualities to bring on board.”
