Fix Auto Dagenham kicks off for Sycamore Trust
Fix Auto Dagenham will play Enterprise Rent-a-Car in charity football match to raise funds for the Sycamore Trust.
The Barking and Dagenham charity supports individuals and families affected by Autistic Spectrum Disorders.
The match will take place at the home of Dagenham & Redbridge FC, Victoria Road, on Tuesday, 20 May.
One of the organisers said: “We wanted to do something fun and community-focused that would bring people together while also supporting a cause that means a lot to us. Football felt like the perfect choice.”
Their collaboration between Fix Auto Dagenham and Sycamore Trust has previously included initiatives such as autism awareness training, with directors and staff attending sessions to better understand and support individuals on the spectrum, work experience opportunities, and support of the Sycamore Trust’s Golf Day.
Fix Auto Dagenham has now set up a JustGiving page to anyone wishing to support the charity.
