Body Repairer Solutions launched to accelerate profits
Body Repairer Solutions has been launched to improve bodyshop efficiency and profitably by providing access to leading suppliers and expert consultancy services.
The company was introduced at the start of this month by Michael Wicks, who has more than four decades of experience in the industry as a technician, bodyshop manager, and NBRA area manager.
The concept behind it is straightforward: link bodyshops with a pool of trusted suppliers across all areas of their business to help them get the best deals and support available.
In addition, bodyshops can also benefit from a complete business review to identify potential areas for growth and savings.
Overwhelming
Wicks said: “I announced Body Repairer Solutions on 1 November and although it’s still in its infancy it’s taken off incredibly well. Support has been overwhelming and I’ve already got a strong list of partners from a range of different sectors, as well as a pipeline of suppliers soon to be announced. I’m fortunate I’ve been in the industry a long time and have built up a lot of relationships, so I have complete trust in all the companies I will be recommending.
“Essentially, I want to become a one-stop shop for bodyshops. No matter what they need, whether it’s servicing a spraybooth or reducing energy costs, I want to provide a solution.
Body Repairer Solutions will officially go live to repairers on 2 January, but some bodyshops have already been in touch and benefited from its services.
Wicks said: “One repairer in Glasgow had seen the news about HSE inspections around isocyanates and saw us on LinkedIn and got in touch. I connected them with a partner who deals with compliance, Crash Repair Solutions.”
Consultancy
Body Repairer Solutions will also offer a consultancy service to bodyshops which will review their business model, explore areas where efficiency gains can be made and consider the potential for diversification and new revenue streams.
Wicks concluded: “The aim is to improve their bottom line, make them more efficient and profitable. Going forward, my intention is to make Body Repairer Solutions free to bodyshops because these are difficult times and they need all the help they can get.”
