Auto Windscreen’s Clearly the Best finalists revealed

Auto Windscreens has revealed the four technicians that have made it to the final of its ‘Clearly the Best’ annual competition.

The competition seeks to identify and recognise the most skilled technicians operating within its network.

Regional heats took place across the UK with 26 technicians assessed on a series of tasks before Craig Foy, Peter Holton, Richard Barber and Spencer Monk, from service centres in Stoke-on-Trent, Swansea, Croydon and Crayford, progressed to the final.

With a combined 88 years’ experience in the industry, the finalists will be assessed on the key skills required for their role, including technical knowledge, customer service, health and safety, an ADAS calibration, quality of workmanship and Environmental Social and Governance aspects of the job.

Exceptional skill

James MacBeth, managing director of Auto Windscreens said: “Each finalist has demonstrated exceptional skill, dedication and customer service both in their daily roles and to get to this stage in the competition.

“Their commitment to excellence reflects the high standards we set at Auto Windscreens and our ongoing investment in training, innovation and technical expertise. I’m very much looking forward to seeing them in action on the day.”

The Clearly the Best final will take place at Auto Windscreens’ Training Centre in Chesterfield on 2 September.
