ADAS training where you are thanks to new partnership

Autotech Training has announced a strategic partnership with TOPDON UK to deliver IMI-accredited ADAS training directly to workshops.

The training will be carried out on site, whether the bodyshop has ADAS equipment or not.

Previously, Autotech Training only offered ADAS training at its Milton Keynes headquarters or at sites already fitted out with ADAS equipment.

However, by using TOPDON’s Phoenix Mobile ADAS units, it is now able to deliver training at virtually any location.

Alistair McCrindle, operations director of Autotech Training, said: “There’s a growing gap in ADAS knowledge across the aftermarket, and it’s critical that we close it. Technicians need the right skills to ensure that these systems are calibrated correctly. Otherwise, the equipment investments many garages are making risk becoming redundant.”

He continued: “ADAS isn’t just the future—it’s already here. These systems are now present in the vast majority of new vehicles. Whether a garage specialises in accident repair, windscreen replacement, tyre fitting, or general maintenance, ADAS calibration is becoming a standard part of the job. Our training not only enables technicians to deliver this service but also equips them to educate customers on why it matters.”

Jack Davis, national sales director, TOPDON UK, said: “The Autotech Training and TOPDON UK partnership marks a significant step forward—making expert ADAS training more accessible, more flexible, and more relevant than ever.

“By empowering technicians with the right skills, it ensures that garages and workshops across the UK can not only meet current repair standards but also play an active role in improving road safety for everyone.”
