3M to open new skills centre at MIRA Tech Park

3M will open a new Training and Skills Development Centre at MIRA Tech Park in Warwickshire in the first quarter of 2026.
The 15,250 sqft site will support the company’s commitment to upskilling technicians in the automotive refinish and industrial sectors.
The state-of-the-art facility will serve 3M’s automotive aftermarket and abrasive system divisions, delivering immersive, hands-on training of the company’s standard operating procedures.
Courses will cover core skills across the vehicle repair process including body repair, paint preparation and application, and refinishing, as well as industrial abrasives processes, from metal fabrication and fine surface finishing to automation.
