2025 WorldSkills automotive winners announced by IMI
The Institute of the Motor Industry has announced the winners of the 2025 WorldSkills Automotive National Finals.
The competition took place from 25-28 November at Cardiff and Vale College, with winners selected from 24 finalists who completed a number of timed tasks.
More than 600 nominations were received for this year’s competitions, with the finalists selected from a year-long application and assessment process.
Nick Connor, IMI chief executive, said: “This year we had a record of over 600 nominations to the WorldSkills Automotive Skills Competitions, proving that there is a real hunger to excel in automotive.
“The Skills Competitions are designed by industry experts to help enhance and develop skills, not just test existing knowledge. We continue to revise the content to ensure technical skills meet the real world needs of our fast evolving sector, making them a hugely valuable programme for young automotive talent.
“Our sector can feel very confident about the future if these young people represent the wealth of talent and enthusiasm that is out there.”
