Hyundai recognised on Sunday Times list

Hyundai Motor UK has been named on the Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2024 list.

The awards, based on a 26-question engagement survey developed by behavioural scientists, data analysts, psychologists, and business leaders, celebrate employers who create exceptional workplace environments.

To achieve a high overall engagement score, an organisation must score well in six categories: reward and recognition; instilling pride; information sharing; empowerment; wellbeing; and job satisfaction.

Hyundai Motor UK scored over 80% in wellbeing, instilling pride and job satisfaction, and at least 75% in all the other categories. It was also rated excellent for diversity and inclusion as well as confidence in management.

The report said: “Hyundai comes from the South Korean for modernity and the car company reflects this by fostering an environment of innovation, empowering its team of 208 in Leatherhead in Surrey to push boundaries and challenge convention.”
