FMG achieves PASMA accreditation

FMG Repair Services’s dedicated Technical Training Centre has become a PASMA registered and approved training centre.

This means the centre in IMI-accredited site in Goole, which provides vehicle repair courses tailored to new entrants, apprentices and established technicians covering panel, paint, welding, ADAS, glass and EV repair, is now fully qualified to deliver the nationally recognised PASMA training syllabus, the safety standard for working from heights.

PASMA training is in demand across all industries as employees working at heights above 2.5m must have the correct training to stay safe and compliant. With 65 vehicle body repair centres across the UK, FMG Repair Services requires PASMA qualified technicians at every site to safely repair vehicle roofs or tall LCVs.

Paul Wrigglesworth, operations director at FMG Repair Services said: “Our technical training centre plays a major role in training, mentoring and recertifying highly competent and skilled vehicle repair technicians using state of the art equipment. We are delighted to achieve PASMA certification to add Working at Heights training and assessment to our range of courses as this is a natural fit for the demands of this industry with the increasing popularity of LCVs and high top vehicles.”
