SYNETIQ earns EcoVadis recognition

Vehicle salvage, dismantling and recycling company SYNETIQ has been awarded a silver medal by EcoVadis, one of the most recognised independent sustainability assessment platforms.
In its first EcoVadis rating, the IAA company was placed in the top 25% of more than 100,000 other businesses assessed worldwide.
This follows numerous initiatives introduced by SYNETIQ to reduce and mitigate its carbon footprint, minimise waste and promote ethical and responsible businesses practices, including committing to set Science Based Targets as part of its ongoing sustainability drive.
It became the first Carbon Literate organisation in the sector in 2021. In 2022 it introduced a carbon saving certification scheme for its clients and this year announced carbon labelling on its green parts.
Elisa Caton, sustainability manager, said: “This award is a great recognition for our continued objective to improve our sustainability performance and report on our plans and progress in a transparent way.”
