Synetiq celebrates FORS certification

Leading vehicle salvage, dismantling and recycling company Synetiq has achieved the industry-wide recognised Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) accreditation for one of its largest operational sites.

The bronze accreditation at its Winsford site demonstrates its dedication to putting safety first across all of its operations.

FORS is a voluntary accreditation scheme for any business operating a vehicle on public highways, including heavy goods vehicles and vans. Recognising efficient and safe vehicle operators, the new accreditation demonstrates Synetiq’s commitment to operating to the highest standards in terms of safety, efficiency and environmental protection.

Mike Griffiths, head of transport, said: “We’re thrilled to have achieved this accreditation. The training and subsequent certification at our Winsford site has driven more efficiencies across our fleet operations, and it’s another demonstration of our commitment to continual improvement for our customers and clients. Working to the FORS standard helps us to ensure we have explored every possible way to lower our emissions and reduce our fleet’s carbon footprint.”
