Fix Auto Edinburgh West achieves PAS 2060

Fix Auto Edinburgh West is the latest franchise partner from within Fix Auto UK’s network to achieve carbon neutral status in line with PAS 2060.

The Scottish business has invested in energy efficient LED lighting and undertaken numerous other measures to successfully gain its PAS 2060 certification.

To assist them in their carbon neutral journey, the repairer engaged with energy and carbon specialists – ECA business energy. ECA calculated the carbon footprint for the site, created and implemented a comprehensive carbon management plan and invested in verified carbon offsetting programmes.

The implementation of the carbon management plan will see them committing to reducing their emissions to agreed targets as set out in the plan year-on-year moving forwards.

Michael Kinnell, bodyshop manager, said: “Working towards our PAS 2060 has been a great exercise for the business for it has helped up focus ourselves on adopting processes to help reduce our carbon footprint. This is just the start for us. Our aim now is to continue and reduce it even further.”
