Entries flooding in for Bodyshop Awards 2023 and 30 Under 30

Nominations have been flooding in for the Bodyshop Awards 2023 and Bodyshop magazine’s 30 Under 30: Rising Stars initiative.

Just five weeks after the official opening, we have received dozens of submissions across the 18 award categories, including the technician and apprentice categories, and for 30 Under 30.

The Powered by Vizion Bodyshop Technician and Apprentice Awards recognise both experienced and trainee-level panel and paint technicians across the industry, while the Powered by asTech – Bodyshop Thatcham Advanced Technologies Technician of the Year is open to the UK’s very best MET and multi-skilled technicians who must hold a current qualification or accreditation at Level 3 or above in both EV and ADAS.

Bodyshop magazine’s 30 Under 30: Rising Stars initiative celebrates the brightest young achievers in collision repair and is one of the most important awards programmes across the entire automotive aftermarket,” said bodyshop editor Simon Wait.

“For all of our awards and 30 Under 30, you can nominate yourself or enter the name of a colleague, business, VDA, vehicle manufacturer, supplier, distributor or educator, as well as bodyshops of all types and sizes that you feel deserve recognition for the great work they do. These prestigious awards are recognised throughout the industry and are a way of appreciating the standouts among us,” he added.

The independent panel of up to 15 judges is scheduled to convene in July 2023, with finalists being announced later that month. The online and practical in-person assessments for the technical categories will be held in the spring and early summer.
