Copart shows support for Pride Month

Copart has announced that it will mark Pride Month 2023 by again sponsoring the Milton Keynes Pride festival, while continuing to roll out diversity and inclusion training to its teammates.

This will be the third year that Copart has sponsored the Milton Keynes Pride festival, and aligns with the company’s culture of equality, diversity and inclusion, which is part of its Copart Cares commitment.

Meanwhile, Copat is also rolling out ‘Diversity Basics’ training to over 1,300 teammates across the UK.

Jane Pocock, CEO of Copart UK & Ireland, said: “We’re delighted to show that Copart Cares about the LGBTQ+ community by sponsoring the fantastic MK Pride event again, alongside other our diversity and inclusion initiatives including the ‘Diversity Basics’ training.

“We’re proud to have such a diverse workforce and it’s important to us that every single Copart teammate feels supported, safe, and truly comfortable to be themselves at all times.

“We provide a range of wellbeing networks and tools on our internal Copart Rewards platform, as well as Mental Health First Aiders, a 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme, and access to the support services of the Ben Automotive Charity.”
