Aston Barclay appoints EV specialist

Car and van auction and remarketing specialist Aston Barclay has appointed its first ever EV specialist.
Albert Parnell, who worked at Tesla for five years, has joined the company to support the transition to electric cars and net zero operations.
Parnell will support customers through every EV purchase, providing expert advice and guidance around owning and driving an EV. He will also support wider training for Aston Barclay’s auction staff, with more than 160 expected to be IMI Level 1 trained by the end of 2023.
He said: “I am excited to join Aston Barclay as it embarks on its own journey to become the most trusted EV remarketing partner. The EV sector is constantly changing, and my job will be to use my knowledge and contacts to keep colleagues and customers one step ahead of the game.”
