TrustFord celebrates EV accreditations

TrustFord Barnsley, Erdington and Wilmslow have become the latest sites to gain Electric Vehicle Approved status – with more expected to follow.

The Electric Vehicle Approved (EVA) scheme, which is endorsed by the Government’s Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV) and Energy Saving Trust, has been developed by the National Franchised Dealers Association (NFDA) to recognise retailers’ excellence in the electric vehicle sector.

The EVA scheme encourages dealerships to further develop their ability in selling and servicing electric vehicles and recognises dealers’ expertise in the electric vehicle sector and promotes industry standards for the benefit of the consumer.

To become accredited, retailers must demonstrate the highest level of expertise in both electric vehicle sales and aftersales.

John Leeman, operations director at TrustFord, said: “I would like to extend huge congratulations to our talented and hard-working teams at Barnsley, Erdington and Wilmslow on receiving their Electric Vehicle Approved Accreditation. I am proud of the fact customers can be reassured that they will receive the very best advice and support when buying and servicing an electric vehicle with us.”
