TIDAL expands distribution network

TIDAL has appointed all 18 full distribution partners as directors of the TIDAL business.

Formed in 2017 by Jeff Morgan of Car Paint Warehouse, Daniel Belcher, The Car Paint Company, and Paul Blunt, the distribution alliance has steadily grown and is now able to offer the UK refinish industry a national solution that delivers consistency and efficiency at all levels.

Blunt said: “Unity is the key to our success. Bringing together 18 individual refinish industry specialists who have years of experience and then expecting them to work as one unit was always a big ask. However, today’s announcement is proof that this can happen. Over the past four and half years and through regular interaction the distribution partners have seen the true value the alliance can bring, after all, working together we are 18 times stronger than working alone.

“The new structure will see the formation of a new extended management team along with three separate working units, one dedicated to sales development, another to strengthening our IT and marketing presence and the third will be focused on both internal and external supply partner development programmes.

“These are exciting times for TIDAL and all associated with the business, however, our key focus remains unaltered, we aim to ensure we deliver the best-in-class products, services and support packages that reflect the challenges faced by today’s bodyshop and ensure they remain relevant as our industry continues to change.”
