Solus names new COO

Solus ARC has appointed Clare Davies as its chief operating officer.

She will report to Simon Smith, Solus managing director and Aviva repair lead.

Davies joins Solus with more than 25 years’ experience within claims and operations and more recently in supply chain management. She will play a key part in leading the operational teams within the Solus Centre of Excellence, focusing on enabling customers to get back on the road as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Smith said: “Vehicle design and technology are changing at a rapid pace and will continue to evolve during the next one to three years at a faster rate than we have seen in the past 50 years.

“To enable us to operate in this dynamic environment it is essential that we have the skills and expertise for the future, and I’m delighted that Clare is joining us at this time. Clare’s expertise and energy will be crucial in supporting the Solus operation reach its goals.”
