Isuzu secures record sales

Isuzu UK recorded 838 sales of the Isuzu D-Max pick-up during the first quarter of 2022, a notable 42.8% up on the same period last year, with March proving to be another strong month for the brand, ending 54.4% up on the previous year sales.

This performance from Isuzu UK comes despite the LCV and pick-up continuing the struggle. According to the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders, the pick-up market was down 48.4% in March with 4,457 registrations and the year to date is also down 40.6% at 7,661 registrations.

Alan Able, brand director, Isuzu UK said “Our sales performance in the first quarter of this year has been very encouraging, especially with such difficult trading conditions for us all. To have a sales increase year on year, with the market significantly down shows just how strong the customer demand continues to be for the Isuzu D-Max.”
