TMD Friction has been named amongst the nominations for the Institute of Motor Industry’s (IMI) 2022 awards, in the Partner of the Year category.
The braking friction specialist has been recognised in one of six categories comprising businesses who have demonstrated commitment and passion in the automotive sector.
Scott Irwin MIMI, head of technical training at TMD Friction, said: “TMD Friction is delighted to be nominated in the Partner of the Year category amongst some of the stand-out talent in the automotive aftermarket industry. As a company, we have strived to meet and exceed the standards required to overcome the challenges that the last two years has thrown at us and being nominated for an IMI award goes some way to recognise those efforts.”
Steve Nash, CEO of the IMI said: “The automotive sector has faced unprecedented challenges since the beginning of 2020, yet these exceptional circumstances have been met head on with incredible fortitude across the breadth of our industry. It is this spirit that has raised the bar for our awards judges this year.”
Winners will be announced at the prestigious IMI Dinner event, to be held on March 17th, at London’s InterContinental Hotel.
