GT Motive announces JDK collaboration

GT Motive has collaborated with JDK Technology to provide additional imaging services for its bodyshop customers.

This integration aims to make the platform even more open and collaborative.

JDK provides technology that enables photos to be sent directly from the claimant to the repairer. By using cloud technology claimants receive a link to their phones, with this they send photos of all the damaged parts in order to receive a more accurate estimate.

JDK also enables bodyshops to capture images through the entire repair process. With this partnership, those images will now appear directly in GT Motive’s estimating platform, GT Global.

Demerie Hill, executive director of product management and delivery said: “We’ve collaborated with another innovative technology company, one whose solutions will only benefit our bodyshop and repairer users when completing estimations. Their imaging technology directly pulls claimant photos from JDK’s technology right into our system, GT Global, to provide a service that will not only make life easier for repairers but will also give them and insurers much more visibility during the claim process.”

Layton Davies, Managing Director of JDK Technology said: “We’re thrilled to be collaborating with GT Motive, and supporting their customers with our top of the range imaging technology. Just like GT Motive, we put bodyshops and repairers at the forefront of our values and create products and services that bring genuine solutions to the repair industry that really make the difference. GT Motive shares our goals, and to have two technology companies at the forefront of innovation working so closely together brings us one step closer to a more collaborative future”.
