Fix Auto Braintree opens for business

Scores of franchise partners, industry suppliers and civic dignitaries attended the launch of Fix Auto Braintree.

Owned by Danny Ashwell, the repair centre is his second site and is part of a wider strategy to operate four repair sites throughout Essex while also relocating his established Chelmsford centre to a purpose-built facility.

Managed by Mark Bodimeade, the new 10,000-sqft facility has 15 work-bays and two energy-efficient spray booths – one for commercial vehicles.

Ashwell said: “Braintree has long been on my radar as an area to expand to and today has been three years in the making for that’s how long we have been searching for the right building in the right area.

“The road has been a long and, at times, difficult one to get here and I certainly wouldn’t be standing here without the unwavering support of my family and my colleagues. Becoming a multi-site operation is a new chapter for us but I have the right people around me, guys who have worked for me for many years, who I can trust wholeheartedly to deliver to ensure it will succeed.”
