Charity football match on fundraising target

Plunkys All Stars has nearly reached 50% of its fundraising target of £16,000 for Brain Tumour Research.

Thanks to the continued support of the industry, £7,810 has so far been raised for this worthy cause, with support coming from Modern Insurance Magazine, Junair, Car-O-Liner, Merseyside Car Hospital, AGM Services, Mirka, ABP, Kirsty Mellon Recruitment, Verex, Autotech Group, Chaplane ARC, LKQ, Ezi-Methods, ACT National, Nationwide Vehicle Assistance, Small Torque, GB Flint, Gillibrand ARC and Apollo Motor Group.

Organised by Steve Plunkett, Plunkys All Stars is a charity football match taking place on 24 May at the home of Peterborough United.

Plunkett said: “This year we are raising some much needed funds for this great charity, two of my dear friends have been affected by tumours in recent years so this is why I have chosen Brain Tumour Research this year. As of the 24th February 2022, we have now raised £54, 000 for various charities since Plunkys All Stars first kicked a ball for a good cause back in 2014, and we have no plans of quitting just yet.”
