Bodyshop Awards 2022 and 30 Under 30 entries now open

Nominations are now open for Bodyshop magazine’s two high-profile independent awards initiatives which will celebrate 2022’s highest-achievers and rising stars in the collision repair industry.

We have once again teamed up with Vizion Network and Remit Group for the panel and paint technician and apprentice awards, to be presented at ICC Wales on 6 October, and we are excited to announce that in the coming weeks we will be introducing a brand-new advanced technologies category for technicians working in the automated-connected-electrified space.

The 2022 Bodyshop Awards will see the return of our day-time Expo which will showcase the products and services of our lead partners and other sponsors.

Another honour we are introducing for 2022 – the all-new Environmental Trailblazer Award – will recognise and applaud efforts made by repair sector companies to drive sustainable eco-friendly best practice, initiate dialogue and inspire others to do more for the environment.

“This new category is an important one for our industry and we are confident repairers will pick up the torch and join us in advancing the sustainability message,” said Bodyshop editor Simon Wait. “We have long found that an endorsement by the bodyshop Awards enhances the brand of winning companies and individuals, creating huge opportunity for differentiation within the industry and in their local communities. The Environmental Trailblazer Award will take this positive impact to the next level.”

In addition to nominations opening for the bodyshop Awards, we are also accepting submissions for our 30 Under 30: Rising Stars in partnership with 3M.

Wait said: “The 30 Under 30 initiative, now in its sixth year, is one of our most popular awards programmes and paints a bright picture of the talent this industry has within its ranks. 3M’s dedication to developing and nurturing new and existing young talent blends perfectly with Bodyshop Magazine’s vision.

“And at a time of immense change and challenge within the industry, teaming up once more with forward-thinking businesses such as lead partners 3M, Axalta, Enterprise and Vizion, plus other still-to-be-announced partners, will evolve the UK industry’s most prestigious independent awards to yet another level,” he added.

30 Under 30: Rising Stars was founded in 2017 to mark the 30th anniversary of Bodyshop Magazine. It is an annual campaign to find 30 inspirational individuals who have achieved something special in their sector and are earmarked for future success. To qualify, contestants must be 30 years of age or under and work within the UK collision repair industry.

Entries for either the Bodyshop Awards 2022 or 30 Under 30: Rising Stars can be submitted until 31 May and must be completed using the following online forms:
