AX will employ its proven tracking solution for the caravan and motorhome markets.
Last year saw a record number of new motorhomes being registered due to the growing popularity of staycations, a trend which is expected to continue despite many pandemic restrictions easing.
However, this has also led to a rise in caravan and motorhomes being targeted by thieves seeking to capitalise on the demand for valuable leisure vehicles, with just three per cent of stolen caravans ever recovered. This underlines the urgent need for owners to take extra measures to safeguard their leisure vehicles to increase the chances of a successful recovery.
