Auto Trader announces FCA Automotive partnership

Used car buyers can now choose FCA Automotive Services as preferred finance provider when selecting a vehicle through Auto Trader.
This follows a partnership between the two companies which will see FCA Automotive Services integrated into Auto Trader’s Apply Online consumer platform, with retailers able to recommend it as the selected finance provider for their stock.
The partnership will be enhanced in the future to include enhancing and digitalising different areas of automotive, leisure and commercial vehicle finance.
Alex Hughes, managing director, FCA Automotive Services, said: “Our financing solutions are intended to make car purchases as easy as possible, with a digitised customer journey to make the buying experience even easier. Connecting to our customers through Auto Trader extends our reach and enhances the customer journey for those wishing to fully or part purchase their vehicle online.”
Latest data from Auto Trader shows that 72% of consumers found digital car buying appealing – up from 61% in 2020 – while research carried out earlier this year by Auto Trader highlighted how retailers that allow customers to complete a financial application and reserve their vehicle online, and which offer ‘click & collect’ services, are seeing higher customer engagement – leading to stronger sales.
