Toyota introduces remote assessment technology

Toyota GB has announced that its Toyota and Lexus approved networks will be encouraged to use Audatex’s bodyshop image capture technology.

Audatex Bodyshop Image Capture allows users to interact with customers in a digital-first, contactless format. Customers receive an SMS request for images of their vehicle’s condition via their smartphone, and are then guided by a seven-step process to obtain images of the vehicle condition and damage, with no download required.
